![]() WipEout stayed alive because of how good and unique it was, don't make another meh ag racing game like may other who plague this paltform all deviating the WipEout name I know this game is not meant to be a WipEout successor, but Is a bit advertised like that and I think 70% percent of those who bought early come from that platform/recommend it because it can be one. The game simply does not allow combat in some spaces forcing you to senselessly drive effectivelly supressing an aspect of the game. Oh boi, I know I'm not the only one but this game needs bigger tracks, way, way bigger. The AoE "yo mama so fat" electric thingy is broken though. In Formla Fusion guns shoot meh, and mehimpact other ships. Combat is mostly pointless, in WipEout getting shot was a pain in the ass, it will severelly slow you down and lwoer your health maybe putting you back at the rear and having to fight you way to the top. The game lacks the distinctive "each team a different craft with different stats" that the WipEout games had, this allowed players to get some further second busting in certain tracks by experimenting with some of the ships or simply choosing a craft becuase of their look/stats and having some decision in the way they wanted to play the game. ![]() The game is great on its own, but it's definetly not a WipEout successor. You have to reach a certain number of points for a medal and the game ends either when you complete all 14 stages or you get destroyed by hitting the mines.I just spent the whole night playing the old WipEout games to make sure i'm going in the right direction. Any mines that were missed on a previous lap still remain to cause more problems, but are worth only 50 points. There are a total of 14 stages in Detonator, each one increasing in speed and adding more mines onto the track. The longer you allow your EMP meter to build up, the bigger the quake will be when you use it. Going over speed pads adds energy to your EMP meter at the bottom left of the screen, which is used as a quake to wipe out everything in front of you. The track is scattered with mines which you need to shoot to gain points as well as one bomb each lap which gives you a big points bonus should you hit it. You have 15 rounds per clip and you have to reload them (or you can manually reload with ). You are in a little ship that is equipped with an unlimited supply of cannon clips. ![]() The aim of the game is to be the first player to reach the required zone number.ĭetonator: Again, this game mode is similar to Zone. You have infinite lives here, but if you explode, then you will be set back by five Zones. When you boost, you drop a barrier behind you, which causes energy loss should another ship hit it. The longer you save up your energy meter, the greater the rewards will be when you boost or absorb. The aim of the game is to keep going over speed pads and obtaining energy, which can be used either to boost into a faster zone or to regain health. Zone Battle: This is similar to the HD game mode Zone, except this time you're against others. You can also turn your ship around by using to fire weapons directly into the other ships behind you. You can't absorb weapons to get health, but you can do so to acquire a brief shield, and 20% of your health is restored each time a lap is completed. The aim of the game is to reach the required amount of points. ![]() You get points for damaging ships depending on the weapon, but you gets lots more for destroying them. Here's a short description of each new mode:Įliminator: This event just focuses on you shooting everybody and trying to eliminate the other ships. Now, there are new events in this DLC and campaign, as well as some familiar events. Note: You don't need to complete the campaign on ELITE difficulty, novice is enough to achieve this trophy.įor this trophy you have to get a gold on at least novice over all 80 events in the Fury campaign.
